Riviera Beach covers two very different places: the mainland city along Broadway and the Intracoastal, and Singer Island across the Blue Heron Bridge. Both are about 20 minutes south of our Palm Beach Gardens base.
On Singer Island, oceanfront towers line the beach near Ocean Reef Park, with single family streets tucked behind them and John D. MacArthur Beach State Park at the island’s north end. Every home there deals with salt air and wind. On the mainland, neighborhoods west of Broadway are full of older block homes, many with original wood fascia, and the Riviera Beach Marina Village and Phil Foster Park anchor the waterfront.
The work changes with the address. Island homes need gutters hung for wind and built from materials that will not rust. Mainland homes often need fascia repair before new gutters go up.
