16 ounce seamless copper

Copper gutters in Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Heavy copper formed in continuous runs for Mediterranean, estate and waterfront homes.

Copper is the gutter people slow down to look at. On a home with barrel tile, cast stone and wrought iron, the kind you find all over north Palm Beach County, a copper run stops being plumbing and starts being part of the architecture. Downspouts and corners become details worth noticing.

Like our aluminum, the copper is formed on site in one continuous piece per run. Seamless copper comes in one weight, and it is heavy: 16 ounce copper, about a pound for every foot of gutter. That weight is why a well installed copper system can outlast the roof above it.

Why owners choose copper

  • No paint to peel or fade in the Florida sun
  • Will not rust, even in salt air

How copper changes over time

New copper goes up bright and shiny. Within months it darkens toward a warm brown, and over years it can build the blue green patina you see on old churches and courthouses. Close to the ocean or the Intracoastal, salt air moves that process along faster. Some owners love the brown stage, others wait for the green. Either way there is nothing to repaint.

Is copper right for your house?

Copper costs well above aluminum, so it makes the most sense where people will see it: the front elevation of a Mediterranean or Spanish style home, a waterfront house, or an estate where every exterior detail has been chosen with care. One good option is copper across the front elevation with a bronze aluminum on the sides and back. Walk the house with Jim at the free estimate and decide together.

Jim was easy to deal with and very professional. He did an excellent job on our gutters!! Would recommend to anyone.

FAQ

Questions about copper gutters

Something else on your mind? Call (561) 255-1634.

Does copper need maintenance?

It needs cleaning like any gutter, since leaves do not care what the gutter is made of. It never needs paint.

Can you add copper to part of the house?

Yes. Copper on the front with color matched aluminum elsewhere is a common way to get the look without doing every run in copper.

Are your copper gutters seamless?

Yes. They are formed on site to the exact length of each run, the same way as our aluminum gutters.
